Centurion Late Hull projects

Briefly, the late hull Centurions had deeper rear hulls with more fuel capacity,
different engine decks and protected glacis plates.
These versions have never been done in plastic in 1/35 scale.

For Gecko Spartan with original hull (non-uparmoured)

Spartan is the Armoured Personnel Carrier version of the CVR(T) family – completely neglected in plastic, until Gecko came to he rescue.

Alongside Scimitar in the LEP (Life-Extension Programme), Spartan/Samson/Sultan and Samaritan were also upgraded from the Jaguar petrol engine to a Cummins diesel. This Spartan is the LEP version depicted by Gecko. As part of the upgrade, Spartan and the others also had a Bowman radio upgrade. The set includes a hull top and Commander’s Cupola. A new hull top was the easiest way to include the interior detail inside the top and on the walls.

This particular hull top is based on the original hull – before some of them were uparmoured.

An optional upamoured hull top will be available soon (SMM3572C), which can be used, for example, with the Gecko Spartan Odin.
