There was no apparent consistency over different marks. Both types could be found on various marks and different guns, so check your own references.
Here we give you two alternatives to what AFV Club offer. Both of these should be used in conjunction with AFV Club part C44 form the kit.‘Type A – Rear Step’ design
These were seen on Mk.8, both British and export versions (e.g Dutch, Indian, Israeli, Pakistani, etc.), 9/1 and 11.‘Type B – Front Step’ design
These were common on Mk.9/1, 9/2 and 12.The Type A/Type B designation used here is an SMM invention, not official!

Centurion Late Hull projects
